新加坡住宅区景观设计|庭院露台和种植花园
设计意图“公爵夫人”住宅区位于新加坡公爵夫人大道110号，总面积14000平方米，于2011年竣工。项目的旨在创造一个三维的景观，呼应场地起伏的地形的同时，创造一个郁郁葱葱的原始“秘密花园”。结合了建筑的主要元素和功能，包含了从开放到私密的多种空间，同时还通过将大量的种植空间（私人封闭空间（PES）、庭院、露台和种植园等形式）与自然紧密相连，在起伏的地面地形中与水融为一体。
DESIGN INTENT
The Duchess Residences located at 110 Duchess Avenue, Singapore, with a total area of 14,000 sqm, was completed in 2011.The landscape design at Duchess seeks to create a piece of living landscape sculpture in 3-Dimension that responds and preserves the undulating terrain of the site, and to create a lush primeval Secret Garden, as a contemporary and exclusive setting for living. The Secret Garden contains 3-dimensional landforms and spaces which varies from the grand to the intimate in character, tying in with the major elements and functional concerns of the architecture. The landscape is also about a strong intimacy with nature through organic forms and the generous provisions of planting spaces in the form of Private Enclosed Spaces (PES), courtyards, terraces and planters integrated with water in an undulating ground terrain.
对于公爵夫人住宅项目，场地外部区域的整个软硬景观与水景景观都由STX设计工作室设计、记录和监督。
For the project Duchess Residences, the entire Hardscape, Waterfeatures and Softscape for the external Areas of the whole site was designed, documented and supervised by the STX Landscape Architects.
景观元素与空间
开发区内的设施包括：入口带棕榈的椭圆形反光池；地下室入口的水瀑布；与烧烤露台和双层会所集成的椭圆形环形天篷；50米的游泳池（部分位于阳光甲板下）；高架按摩浴缸和儿童游泳池（与游泳池集成）；长曲线水瀑布；生物池；清香花园。
LANDSCAPE ELEMENTS AND IMPLEMENTATION
Facilities achieved within the development are : Entrance drop off oval Reflecting Pool with palms; Water Cascades at Basement entry; Oval roundabout canopy integrated with BBQ terrace and double level clubhouse; 50M Lap Pool (partially under Sun Deck); Elevated Jacuzzi and Children’s Pool (integrated with the Lap Pool); Long curvilinear Water Cascades; Bio Pond; Quiet Scent Garden.
从地下室多功能厅的落客区到二楼的烧烤露台，景观空间在三层空间中被垂直地连接在一起。
The landscape is physically connected in space over 3 levels vertically from Drop-off at the Basement multi-function Room to the BBQ terrace at level 2.
主入口位于大堂
在主入口，一个椭圆形的升起的不锈钢倒影池与无限的边缘的池塘是大厅的主要景观。大厅的一侧由两个平面的水墙界定，水墙形成一个连续的弧形，在中心有一个开口，这是通向外部空间的入口。通过这个入口，一个与地面上的椭圆形形状相呼应的顶棚在空中展开，倒影池中的棕榈树加强了这个空间的感受，突出了垂直的空间感。椭圆形的冠层结构也形成了一个雕塑坡道与花盆，并与游泳池和烧烤露台融合在一起。
Main Entrance Drop Off Lobby
At the main entrance, an oval shaped raised stainless steel reflecting pool with infinity edge and palms in the water defines the focal of the drop off lobby. One side of the lobby is defined by 2 planes of water walls which form a continuous arc with an opening in the center to create an entrance to the amenities beyond. Overhead across the drop off, a canopy echoing the oval form on ground opens up to the sky above. Palms in the reflecting pool punctuate the oval void and accentuate the vertical axis upwards. The oval canopy structure also forms a sculptural ramp with planters and integrated with the Pool and BBQ terraces.

Clubhouse Pool Deck
The pool deck nearest to the Clubhouse is the Clubhouse Pool Deck. It serves the Clubhouse and BBQ terrace, the main lap pool and children’s pool. Part of the pool deck opens up to a void where an arc of water wall brings light and animation to the courtyard of the Multi-function room below. While the Clubhouse is of 2 levels, the landscape is physically connected in space over 3 levels vertically.

儿童游泳池靠近俱乐部会所，水龙头以管风琴管的形式设计。
Children’s Pool
The children’s pool is near to the Clubhouse. Water spigots are in the form of organ pipes as a design feature.
主游泳池和按摩浴缸
主游泳池与其他休闲游泳池相结合，形成一个大型的水体景观，包含4个50米的泳道，可在此运动游泳。
Main Lap Pool and Jacuzzis
The main lap pool is integrated with the other recreational pools to form a large organic naturalistic water body yet maintaining a 4 lane x 50m lap length for exercise swimming.

Water overflowing over the long edge of the pool visibly expresses the level change in the site in a long series of cascades fronting the frontage of the ground units.

An upper sun deck terrace slides over and forms a canopy over part of the main pool to create a sense of mystery and discovery. The terrace is punctuated by a void in its center to filter light softly down to the pool and planting below; it also connects the units at the highest level on site while providing an elevated viewing experience of the landscape.
有机几何图形和起伏的平面在空间中巧妙地相互抵消，通过硬景观、软景观和水景元素的相互交织，为生活在当代秘密花园中亲近自然提供了环境和氛围。
The organic geometries and undulating planes are off-set in an artful manner from each other in space, and together by the intertwining of hardscape softscape and waterfeature elements provide a setting and ambience for living close to nature in a contemporary secret garden.

Pond and garden around Gym
As a contrast to the recreational pool areas, the garden terrace is a quieter space and takes a softer approach with its interplay between waterbodies and water plants. There are bio ponds in this area. The gym is located and floats in a reflecting pool. The planting for this area will be lush with vines on the retaining walls to create a quiet area of repose from the activity and relative formality of the other areas.
清香园
在场地的西北角是一个花园，将种植芳香的花朵和植物种类。这是为了营造一个安静幽静的角落，远离喧嚣的主要中央景观，在那里可以享受植物的香味休闲。这个花园也是一个安静的阅读角。在另一端是另一个较小的安静气味花园。
Quiet Scent Garden
At the north west corner of the site is a garden that will be planted with fragrant blooms and plant species. This is to create a quiet and secluded corner with seating away from the bustle of the main central landscape where the scents from the plants can be enjoyed at leisure. This garden can be a quiet reading corner also.At the other end is another smaller quiet scent garden.

ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
With a severely undulating terrain with level changes both in the length and the breadth of the site, handicap accessibility was a challenge. As such multiple ramps at various gradients are integrated into the designed 3-Dimensional organic forms to reinforce the principles of Universal Design.Over 50 species of trees and palms were used to increase the bio-diversity of the site.A lot of large broadleaved evergreens were used to create a lush primeval character to reinforce an intimacy and closeness with Nature within a Secret Garden setting.The material palette used organizes the lighter beige colored materials for use on the horizontal plane while the darker green and black stones are used in the vertical planes. Lighter colors on the ground plane better accommodates bare- foot functionality for pool decks while darker verticals blend better with over- hanging plant materials.

Large trees, bushy palms and fast vines were used to provide shade and screening within the site to mitigate against heat gain within the outdoor landscape spaces.In total, the landscape was planted with 479 nos. of Trees, 822 palms, more than 25,000 nos. of tall / medium shrubs and close to 55,000 nos. of small shrubs / groundcovers.
